On December 9, 2013 Kent County Superintendent Karen Couch shared her goal to ensure that teachers have high-quality reading and math resources throughout the system.  The Kent County Board of Education voted unanimously to adopt Reading Wonders and My Math programs by McGraw-Hill for grades K-5.
