WORTON — Trojan Arena at Kent County High School will be closed to the public for all games being held this Thursday, Jan. 30 when our girls and boys basketball teams play St. Michael's High School.
Only players, coaches, referees, other game management personnel, administrators and local media will be allowed in the gym for Jan. 30 games.
The decision to close the gym was made due to incidents that occurred during a game last month at St. Michaels High School.
Families and fans can catch play-by-play coverage by the high school's radio station 90.5 FM WKHS (also online at
https://wkhsradio.org/ and on the Kent County Public Schools mobile app) or stream the game at
https://www.nfhsnetwork.com/ (subscription required).
As a reminder any children attending the games this Tuesday and Wednesday evening must be accompanied by an adult. We also remind all attendees to maintain good sportsmanship and refrain from any negative interactions with visiting teams and fans.
Thank you for your support!
